falls-parkThere’s plenty to do in Pendleton’s famous Falls Park, located about 7 miles from Rose Lake Estates.

Falls Park gets its name from the upper falls along Fall Creek, in Pendleton. Located in southern Madison County, and right beside the town of Pendleton, biking, walking or picnicking at Falls Park been a tradition for two centuries of Pendleton residents.

Falls Park includes 284 acres of beautifully maintained grounds framing the naturally occurring Fall Creek Falls. The park includes shaded trails filled with wildflowers, two ponds and several creeks, plus open-air shelters, playgrounds, an Olympic-size community pool, meeting facilities, a sports complex, and a golf course.

You’re bound to see your Rose Lake neighbors at Falls Park Farmer’s Market Saturdays through the summer where you can get fresh, locally sourced produce from 9 AM to noon.

The golf course is now open, and the public pool opens on Memorial Day.

Our residents frequently attend the many June Jamboree music programs throughout the month. Starting the first weekend in June, there’s a program for every taste, from kid’s jams, to country, to rock.
