There’s nothing like summer to encourage exploration and play! Our RoseLake residents often look for new places to take the kids and grandkids during the summer.

This year, ziplines, treetop ropes courses and treehouses rule! Not only are they fun and nearby, but they also tend to be cool places to spend under the shade of treetops. We know, because RoseLake Estates are full of mature, green trees, keeping much of our neighborhood cool and shaded.

Here are a few new ideas for kids of all ages (even you!)

  • Soaring Eagle Zipline – Located at 1101 Indianapolis Road in Mooresville, this one-minute backwards thrilling ride is just $5 per person. You must be 48” tall to ride with an adult. Take off through a clearing in the trees and arrive at the top of a tower. The ride is gentle, smooth, and exhilarating – just like an eagle’s. Go to for more info.
  • Flat Fork Creek Park – Is Fishers’ newest park, located at 16141 E. 101 St in Fishers. It consists of three treehouse forts connected through the park by a paved trail. Get more information at
  • Treetop Outpost at Conner Prairie – (see photo) Just opened July 1 at Conner Prairie, 13400 Allisonville Road, Fishers. This interactive experience offers archeological digs, art creation, and music while hanging out in the woods. Free with admission to Conner Prairie. Info:
  • Go Ape at Eagle Creek – This is a challenging high ropes and zipline course right in the heart of Eagle Creek park (Indianapolis’ northwest side.) It’s a physical challenge for kids and adults age 10 and up, beginning with a rope ladder between trees. Costs are $38 for children 10-15, $58 age 16 and up. Go to
  • Koteewi Aerial Adventure Park – This course includes three different heights and 60 treetop trails and ziplines. For children aged 7 and up, this course is a recent addition to Strawtown Park, located at 11800 Koteewi Drive, Noblesville. Fees start at $44 and discounts are available on the Koteewi Aerial Adventure park Facebook page.

We love to see our RoseLake homeowners and their families having a good time outdoors. Hope to see you at one of these places this month!
