The Fall Creek Golf Club is a gem of a public golf course and it’s right in the heart of Pendleton – just down the road from Rose Lake Estates.

Open to the public seven days a week, this 18-hole course is filled with mature trees and generous fairways, all of which are located in a peaceful setting next to the Pendleton Reformatory.

Fall Creek Golf Club was originally called the Idlewold Country Club when it first opened in 1920 with just nine holes. Within three years, nine more holes were added.

The Town of Pendleton purchased the golf course at the end of 2008, and the name was changed to Fall Creek Golf Club. Five years later, a driving range was built, which now gives novices and pros alike a place to practice.

The golf course is now a part of Pendleton’s popular Falls Park and has the type amenities you would expect from a private club in a public course. There is a pro shop with a full line of clubs, clothing and anything else you might need for a day on the links. There is also a club house with a fully stocked snack bar and a relaxing atmosphere, and

  • Affordable fees
  • Golf Lessons are available through a PGA professional instructor.
  • Clinics and Camps – available for all ages
  • Men’s League Tuesday night league will begin each spring as an after work 9-hole league.
