At RoseLake Estates, we’ve been noticing how our residents are beating the heat these past several hotter-than-average summer months.

The most popular pastime? Fishing, hands down. Whether you’re 6 or 86, fishing seems to be a favorite of our residents, especially in the evening. We have a catch-and-release policy, which is well respected. And since our lake has been stocked for the past 30 years, we have some granddaddy-sized fish that make for great catching.

There are also several neighbors that enjoy grilling out. We encourage safe grilling, of course. Placing your grill well away from overhangs and near a hose is always a safe bet. We advise keeping pets and children away from hot grills as well.

When the temperatures cool off in the evening, our Rose Lake Estate neighbors take frequent walks together around the pond. We have quite a few early morning joggers, too. Kids on bikes and picking up a game of basketball is also a summer tradition around here.

There are also quite a few gifted gardeners in our neighborhood, many with thriving vegetable plants and flowers this year.

We want to thank our neighbors for looking in on senior residents, especially in this summer heat. And thanks to all our wonderful residents for keeping our streets clean and safe, and the homes well cared for.

Summer is a great time to move into RoseLake Estates and get to know your neighbors. Stop in to take a look at a few of the updated affordable properties we have available this month, awaiting new families to make it their home.
